Here is a summary of it:<\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"2\">Bianzone: Between History, Faith and Agricultural Tradition<\/h4>\n<p id=\"p-rc_3d791e25037b8f29-61\" data-path-to-node=\"3\"><span data-path-to-node=\"3,1\"><span class=\"citation-155\">Bianzone is an ancient Valtellina village of about <\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"3,1\" data-index-in-node=\"49\"><span class=\"citation-155\">1,300 inhabitants<\/span><\/b> <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"3,4\"><span class=\"citation-154\">, located on a cone upstream of the Stelvio road<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"3,6\">. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"3,8\"><span class=\"citation-153\">Once a holiday destination for nobles and bourgeoisie <\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"3,11\"><span class=\"citation-152\">, Today, the village retains an old-world charm, where life flows at a slower pace than the modern frenzy<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"3,13\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"4\">The Roots between Mystery and Historical Documents<\/h4>\n<p id=\"p-rc_3d791e25037b8f29-62\" data-path-to-node=\"5\"><span data-index-in-node=\"70\"><span class=\"citation-149\">8 February 1100<\/span><\/b><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,3\">. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,5\"><span class=\"citation-148\">On that date, the sisters Nalucia and Pagana Della Torre donated the church of San Siro to the archpriest of Bormio<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,7\">. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,9\"><span class=\"citation-147\">The link with Bormio lasted until 1521, when the parish of Bianzone became independent<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"6,11\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"7\">Faith and Territory: The Sanctuary of the Madonna del Piano<\/h4>\n<p id=\"p-rc_3d791e25037b8f29-64\" class=\"citation-144\">Water protection<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-144\">: Over the centuries, the shrine became a reference point for citizens during the frequent flooding of torrents from data-path-to-node=\"12,2,1,2\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"13\">The Economy: From Wine to Apples<\/h4>\n<p id=\"p-rc_3d791e25037b8f29-71\" data-path-to-node=\"14\"><span data-path-to-node=\"14,1\"><span class=\"citation-139\">The history of Bianzone is intrinsically linked to the land<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,3\">. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,5\"><span class=\"citation-138\">If during Graub\u00fcnden's rule the <\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"14,5\" data-index-in-node=\"36\"><span class=\"citation-138\">wine<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-138\"> was the main commercial attraction<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,8\"><span class=\"citation-137\">, over time, there has been a shift towards the <\/span><b data-path-to-node=\"14,8\" data-index-in-node=\"56\"><span class=\"citation-137\">apple cultivation<\/span><\/b><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,10\">. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,12\"><span class=\"citation-136\">This change led to the emergence of cooperatives to manage land holdings that, due to inheritance, had been excessively fragmented<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,14\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"15\">Towards the Future: Sport and Youth<\/h4>\n<p id=\"p-rc_3d791e25037b8f29-72\" data-path-to-node=\"16\"><span data-path-to-node=\"16,1\"><span class=\"citation-135\">Under the administration of mayor Mauro Castelanelli, the municipality looks to the year 2000 by focusing on young people to counter emigration to larger centres<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"16,3\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"p-rc_3d791e25037b8f29-73\" data-path-to-node=\"17,0,1\"><span separate waste collection in cooperation with the dynamic Parish Centre<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"17,1,1,2\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bianzone thus presents itself as a village that, while proud of its agricultural and noble past, seeks to offer new opportunities to new generations so that they can continue to live in the land of their ancestors.<\/p>\n<p>Reading accounts of the past has its charm because it allows us to make a comparison with the present. Some things have been achieved, but still several problems remain, such as road safety and the depopulation of small towns. There is still a long way ahead, but the people of Bianzone, as mentioned in the article, <em>when there is work to be done<\/em>!<\/p>\n<p>Also worth mentioning are the advertising pages for some companies, shops and premises of the past, some of which are no longer there.
