ECOMUSEO DELLE TERRAZZE RETICHE DI BIANZONE
An open-air museum in the heart of Valtellina
Welcome to Bianzone
Bianzone is a small village in Valtellina, near Tirano and the famous Bernina red train, with an ancient history and a fascinating landscape dominated by terraced vineyards on the mountainside. Its historical, cultural and landscape heritage is of great value and since 2008 it has been preserved and enhanced by the Ecomuseo delle Terrazze Retiche, one of the five ecomuseums in Lombardy located in the province of Sondrio.
The ecomuseum encompasses the entire municipal territory of Bianzone: an area rich in charm, traditions and testimonies that still speak to us of a distant past, to be rediscovered.
