In Bianzone until 1960 the primary schools they did not have a dedicated venue, but used classrooms that had been created at best in the Town Hall and the Besta building.
A new era for the school in Bianzone
When the precarious condition of the roof of the Besta building made it unfit for use, the classrooms were closed and the students had to attend classes in shifts in the three classrooms of the municipal building. This precarious situation led to the decision to build a new school building.
The 2 October 1960 the new school building, built on a former vineyard just a few steps from Piazza Vanoni, was inaugurated. The total investment for the purchase of the land, construction of the building and furnishing was around 23 million lira.
Collateral developments and services
Since 1999, a large and well-equipped gym, used by both students and adults. Adjacent to the gymnasium, in the area of the former dairy, the new headquarters of the Civil Defence.
In the square in front of the school in 2004, the new war memorial. To the north of the school buildings, in a small building, is the former medical clinic and the library.
